Unfortunately, there are plagiarism allegations against the artist of the series, Kamiya. This reportedly might cause the cancellation of 'No Game No Life' season 2.
According to Anime Amino, someone caught Kamiya tracing his work and exposed him on social media.
Characters including Stephanie Dora, Jibril, and Izuna appeared to have been traced based on other anime character poses. However, Kamiya did not seem to trace them directly, but had executed similar poses and details from other artworks, the report said.

Kamiya already apologized to the artists that he based his work on, publicly and on their websites. Kamiya also paid the artists for the work that he used for his own artwork.
Meanwhile, 'No Game, No Life' will be having a film spin-off titled 'Zero,' which is based on the main manga and light novels.
According to Inquistr, the film will follow Riku in bringing an end to the Great War by instilling peace in Disboard. Riku will be joined by Shuvi in the fight to create a world that will be succeeded by Tet, Shiro, and Sora.
The official website of the franchise is already streaming a teaser for 'No Game, No Life: Zero.'
The 'Zero' cast includes Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Sora, Ai Kayano as Shiro, Yoko Hikasa as Stephanie Dora, Yukari Tamura as Jibril, Yuka Iguchi as Clammy Zell, Mamiko Noto as Feel Nilvalen, Miyuki Sawashiro as Izuna Hatsuse, and Rie Kugimiya as Teto.
'No Game, No Life: Zero' is anticipated to premiere on July 15.

Throughout the last few years, if there’s a genre that has taken over the anime industry, that would be Isekai. And No Game No Life is perhaps the most popular entry into the genre. The anime is an adaptation of Yu Kamiya‘s light novel of the same name. Furthermore, Atsuko Ishizuka helmed the show as its director. No Game No Life made its debut in April 2014 and aired till June that year. Plus, the anime got a prequel movie that premiered on 12 July 2017.
No Game No Life Season Two: Release date
The first season of the anime became a hit among both viewers and critics during its run. Also, fans have been demanding a sequel series ever since 2014. However, neither the producers nor the studio has said anything about season two. More than six years have passed, which has made otakus wonder about its future. Moreover, Madhouse is notorious about mostly making one-season-anime series, causing many to doubt about the second season.
However, with the series now available on Netflix, added with the movie’s release, the prospect of a new season seems brighter than ever. We hope that if the anime gets enough viewership on Netflix, the makers might consider continuing the series. And if a renewal does happen, we don’t expect to see it before 2021.

Since the makers are yet to confirm season two, we don’t know much about the cast. However, we are quite sure that Shiro (Ai Kayano) and Sora (Yoshitsugu Matsuoka) will feature as the protagonists again. Also, other series regulars such as Stephanie (Yoko Hikasa), Izuna (Miyuki Sawashiro) will probably make their return as well. In essence, we assume most of the characters from the last season to feature in the next one. As for new characters, viewers will have to wait a while to know their identities.

As they emerge victoriously, Tet offers them a place in a gaming reality. The two accept this offer, and Tet transports them to the new reality. And in this reality, they have to abide by the rules while playing and winning against other species.
